Patriarchy may try to negate body and flee Earth with its constant heartbeat of death, but Goddess forces us back to embrace them, to take our human life in our arms and clasp it for the divine life it is— the nice, sanitary, harmonious moments as well as the painful, dark, splintered ones.

If such a consciousness truly is set loose in the world, nothing will be the same.

It will free us to be in a sacred body, on a sacred planet, in sacred communion with all of it. It will infect the universe with holiness. We will discover the Divine deep within the earth and the cells of our bodies,and we will love her there with all our hearts and all our souls and all our minds.

New Moon in Taurus

The dark of a Taurus new moon is upon us.

The beautiful, dark, loamy soil of our Earth Mother holds the deep wisdom of Taurus. Sacred earth and sacred body are the foundation of this life.

Use the elemental wisdom of earth to come home to the here and now. Sink into the physical. Revel in body sensations; smells, tastes, textures, movements.

Call on the energies of this earthy new moon and the divine Earth Mother to hold you and help you.

Come down to ground.

Earthy Full Moon

Snow Mandala

Full moon in earthy Virgo, keeper of Earth’s cycles, rhythms and mysteries. Virgo is lover of green trees furry creatures, running streams, buzzing bees, soil and stone.

Now is the perfect time to embrace your inner Earth priestess or priest. Earthy rituals are particularly powerful when the moon is full in Virgo.

Offer love and honor to Mama Earth; create a mandala out of objects from Nature, sing a song of gratitude to Earth and Sky, offer up a joyful poem to your favorite tree, sit with the land and give it your loving attention, light a candle and express your appreciation for the air, food, water and shelter our Earth provides, sit in the light of the full moon tonight and express your wonder about the mystery of it all…

There are a thousand different ways to love and honor our sacred Earth. Choose one and do it now. Do it for the land where you live.

Capricorn New Moon

New moon in earthy Capricorn, the sign of the ancient grandmothers.

What would your great-great grandmother say about the chaos and uncertainty we are all experiencing right now?

This too shall pass.

Time to get deeply grounded in the physical world. What do you see, hear, taste, smell, feel in this moment? Focus on your senses and the physical world. Keep coming back to the physical whenever you feel upset or off balance.

Keep breathing. Keep moving. Don’t let yourself freeze up.

One step at a time.

Full Moon – The Grandmothers Are Calling

Full moon tonight in earthy Capricorn, the shaper. The energies are amplified by a penumbral eclipse of the moon, visible in North America.

The deep feminine wisdom of the grandmothers is calling to you now. As old structures and rules are dismantled all around you, the grandmothers ask you to get clear about what you truly want.

What do you want in your world? Get grounded in this reality and then envision a new future unfolding before you.

Do you see a faint path headed in the direction of your truth? Follow it!

How can you begin to shape and build the future you desire? Transformation only requires you to take one tiny step at a time.

Nothing is impossible with the ancestral grandmothers by your side. Ask for their guidance and support.
